Thoughts:  A tale of two singers.  The old stuff, like first single "Stranger Things," is more of a generic R&B thing.  Also, any coincidence that her first single was "Stanger Things" and then her second single is a cover of "Running Up That Hill"?  Sounds like someone is a stan of the Upside Down!  Anyway, the more recent stuff is less R&B and more indie pop/Taylor Swift's current Era.

She grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey - love their bacon - and was taking singing lessons by age 7.  At 14, she applied for a talent search ad, became a finalist, and was flown to L.A. to meet with studio people and industry execs.  After that, she worked on growing her audience with YouTube and TikTok to share originals and covers.  She has a great voice.

No albums, and her EPs are weird.  She released a 2025 EP called Tattoo (selective memory), which collects some singles from the prior few years.  Then she released a 2025 EP called Change of Plans that includes those same songs as well as two new songs.  Odd.  Anyway, top track is a single that made it on to both of those.  "Pretty Face" has 2.9 million streams.

That video is deeply annoying for me.  But the song is a nice little strummy pop nugget.  2024 single "Deeper Meaning" has the second-most streams.  2.1 million.

Switches out the guitar for the piano but keeps the introspection and investigation of a boy and relationship as the key to the tune.  "Horror Movie" is enjoyable as well.  I like the end of the chorus.  I definitely like the newer direction more than the older music.  But, weekend two on Sunday morning means not going to see this one!
