Thoughts: Quinlan Sharif McAfee is from Austin!  Homegrown rap talent!  Wild thing, after listening to a handful of tracks, I thought that I would compare his flow to Lil Wayne, and then his Wikipedia says that he cites Lil Wayne as his inspiration to want to rap in the first place.  The first album he ever purchased was That Carter III (which came out when my man was seven, which seems really young to be hearing some of those tracks!).  I gotta say, in comparison to some of the other rappers from Austin that ACL has brought out, this guy sounds more like a real rapper than most.  Too much autotune, but legit beats and big league flow.  He says he grew up in Northeast Austin - "da 4 to be exact."  What is da 4?  Is it about their City Council District?  That would be a weird thing to be excited about.

Four albums/mixtapes - 2019's 4NUN, 2020's QUINCHO, 2022's 2's & 4's, and 2023's Never On Time.  The first disc has his two biggest hits - "Talkin' My Shit" with 31.3 million streams, and "Poles," with 43 million.

Definitely helps to have NLE Chopper on the track to get some popularity.  Don't shoot at that cool old Bronco y'all!  c'mon!  Also, don't like him rapping about shooting up a school, but the vibe and sound of the track is great, even if the lyrics aren't top tier.  "Glizzy" is wild just because of the imagery he uses to detail how dead he knows a guy is because he can see the contents of his stomach.  Good beat too.  The next top single was a 2021 track called "Laid Back," with 26.8 million streams.

Less interesting to me. Sounds more like something I'd expect from a local rapper - mediocre beat, nothing special in the lyrics, a video of a guy just rapping directly at the camera and showing off his chains and gun fingers.

Definitely one of the best rap things on the poster though - slim pickings for folks who are coming to ACL solely for rap, and this is at least a legit rapper.
