I have tried to reduce some of the bloat in these schedule posts so that you can just get the goods. I think I am going to make a separate place to find playlists and other thoughts about the days. Click the name link to find out more about each artist.

I doubt I'll make it to the park this early, but Gilfillian is my easy choice here. I am honestly disappointed that they have stuck him at such a terrible slot.

Miller Lite | The National Parks: Lovely indie folk that makes me think of the Civil Wars |
BMI | Delacey: Successful pop songwriter coming out from behind the curtain for a "Jolene"-ish track and then something terrible with G-Eazy |
IHG | The Altons: Old school soul tunes on their most recent hits. |

They changed up the poster! Abraham Alexander moved later in the day. Without him up here, then I think you get two really solid choices here (sorry Delacey). National Parks is probably my choice.

Honestly, those first two are both really good. I'm attracted to the smaller venue feel of Tito's for Bailen, but I'd probably choose the Souls just because their music has been more present in my life.

If you had asked me before just now to remember Breland or Deyaz, I would have been a massive failure. Completely forgettable. However, Brittney Spencer is a badass - feels like a chance to see a future star here. Although, if Half-Alive dance during live shows like they do during their music videos, that would be an amazing show.
[EDIT! - Looks like Deyaz is out of the Fest now - we get a new band called Brother Thunder here and Abraham Alexander gets moved into this slot. With that in mind, I have no clue what to recommend. Maybe Half-Alive.]

The hour of odd punctuation bands! While I have a soft spot in my heart for EDM in the Tito's tent because it feels tighter and more fun in community like that, Portugal is the easy pick for me here.

T-Mobile | Little Simz: Fantastic rapper with a chill vibe but some tough lyrics |
Major bummer here, as three of these are top notch stuff. I've wanted to see Little Simz for years, so that is probably the choice, but Bass Drum and Teskey are also really fun stuff that would probably be great.
[EDIT - well, looks like Spencer just got moved to later in the day - she just got moved into the slot that D4VD used to be in at this hour. He is OUT. Still going to go to Simz over her though. But she is great! I promise!]

Maggie is the easy call here when this was Kali Uchis, but Major Lazer will be pretty fun. I don't love EDM, but at the same time this would probably be a hype show.

I had not realized that Revivalists were getting shunted over to the little BS stage. That is whack. That is definitely my pick here.

It's too bad that someone else isn't the headliner opposite Kendrick - put Odesza's ass over there or something! Because even though I complained heavily about both of these artists, I'd still almost assuredly choose Kendrick and see one of the best rappers alive at the top of his game.
