Outside Lands 2016

The lineup for Outside Lands, out in San Francisco, was announced just recently.  Biggest headliner of the season, a band that we can only hope and pray will be able to make it to ACL (in light of their insane touring schedule), truly monsters of rock.  DR. TEETH AND THE ELECTRIC MAYHEM!!!

Can you PICHHAAAAHHH?!?!  ANIMAL! ANIMAL! ANIMAL!

Oh, and in other amazing news you never could have guessed, LCD Soundsystem is a headliner! Shocker!  Is it just me, or was LCD Soundsystem not that big of a deal before they retired?  Would they have ever been named to headliner every festival if they had just kept on?  Could Vampire Weekend announce their retirement tomorrow, then come back in 2018 and headline everything?  I think it could happen.

Otherwise, you've got Radiohead, Lionel Richie, Lana Del Rey and J. Cole on the top line. Not that exciting other than Radiohead.  Others of note, Duran Duran, Ryan Adams, Big Grams, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.  Somehow, Third Eye Blind also made this festival.  I guess they are having a renaissance?  New big things Jack Garratt and Anderson.Paak also made the poster.  It doesn't make me want to immediately buy tickets with the Coachella lineup did...
