Thoughts:  Kinda goofy stuff - not as goofy as Chromeo, but some of these really sound like a guy just farting around with his synthesizer and a beat.  Originally formed as a duo in 2011, one dude left and now it is just Jeffrey Paradise and then some buddies who come along for the live shows.  They call their music "daytime disco," which is supposedly known for "relaxed beats, high vocals, and a wash of smooth electronics and the lounge sound overall."  The "lounge sound overall" is a whack phrase.

Four albums - 2012's Pacific Standard Time, 2017's Heat, 2020's Low Season, and 2021's High Season.  Funny enough though, their most streamed tune is a remix/cover of Neil Young's "Harvest Moon" that apparently gained notoriety because the LCD Soundsystem guy uses it in his DJ shows.  100.7 million streams.

If I'm being honest, kind of an annoying tune.  The original version is so lovely, this one just sucks the life out of the beauty of it.  Spreaking of James Murphy, "Drifting" sounds sort of like a Radiohead song mixed with low-key LCD Soundsystem when it starts.  None of their other tunes come anywhere near those streaming numbers.  The second-most streamed is "Can't Stop Your Lovin'" with 44 million streams.  From the Low Season disc.

That sounds familiar to me.  Not sure if it sounds like another song, or if I have heard it somewhere before.  So much kissing!  "Tulsa" comes on like a Grateful Dead slow jammer.  "Kiss You Forever" is horrible.  Like the Baby Muppets should be singing that in hell.  I find some of these songs to be perfectly pleasant to bop along in the background, but all too often I notice them just because they are too repetitive and annoying.  I doubt that I would choose to see this one.
