One Liner: Strong voiced hook singer making bad, generic pop R&B

Three albums, 2014's Aquarius, 2016's Nightride, and 2018's Joyride. Wikipedia also says she has been an actress: "Her notable roles included as a motion-capture model in the animated film The Polar Express (2004) and recurring roles in Out of Jimmy's Head (2007–2008) and Two and a Half Men (2008–2009)." WTF is Out of Jimmy's Head? Apparently a Cartoon Network show a long time ago. Okey doke. So not much of an actress, then. Although I've seen the Polar Express 40 times by now.
Tinashe's name means "We are with God" in the Shona language (her dad is from Zimbabwe).
Before her solo career, she was in a girl group called the Stunners, that opened for Justin Bieber on a 2010 tour. The band then disbanded and she went solo. One final note of personal life before we get to the music: "On March 8, 2018, Tinashe confirmed she was a relationship with NBA point forward Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers, and had been dating for about half a year. As of May 25, 2018 it was reported that Ben Simmons and Tinashe have broken up, preceding rumors that Simmons had cheated on Tinashe with Kendall Jenner. Following these events, it was proceeded by various other outlets that she was "stalking" Ben and Kendall to which she also denied, Simmons allegedly alluded to "beefing up" his security to keep the singer at bay." So, there's that. She got her man stolen by one of the trashy ass Kardashians and then he had to hire security to keep her from getting him. So, she's a bad ass.
Top track, by a huge margin, is from that first 2014 album, and features my man Schoolboy Q. This is "2 On," with 143.2 million streams.
Her second-most streamed is a single from 2015, but it features Chris Brown and I super hate him a bunch, so we're super not going to play that one here. Instead, how about the third-most-streamed, which appears on the new album and features rap idiot and homophobe Offset. Here is "No Drama," a song title she could try to live a little bit, if the Kardashian news up above is to be believed. 24.6 million streams.
This just feels like something that hits big for thirty seconds, and then in a year no one even knows that there was ever an artist named Tinashe. Its got zero calories, nothing that will keep you full for even a minute.
I mean, you know this isn't really my type of music anyway, so take my critique with a grain of salt, but I've come around to Janelle Monae and Camila Cabello, so I'm not entirely against R&B pop females. But to this, I say nope.
