Thoughts:  I decided that I should try another Ai engine to see if it could do a better job than ChatGPT did with that West 22nd post.  A friend had recently told me about Perplexity, and so far it seems like a pretty good solution to finding information that works better than Google these days.  However, in my opinion, the post that it crafted is still pretty lame - it sounds like something a boring AI robot wrote:

That is jenky as hell.  further cementing her fanbase!  undoubtedly an artist to watch!  Shut it, nerd.  By the way, someone named Amina Elfeky was on the Egyptian Artistic swimming team at the 2024 Olympics!  Also by the way, I actually hear that Evanescence reference now after a few songs.  Never loved that band.

Just One EP, 2024's Skin to Skin.  Top song, as revealed up above by the robot overlords, is "Tonight (demo)" with 15.2 million streams.

I got all excited when reading that she was making waves in the alternative rock scene, but this isn't what I wanted.  The thing I like most about this song is the heavy bass thrums. Second-biggest streamer is "A Dozen Roses" with 4.5 million streams.
Yeah, sure.  This is better than a lot of the stuff I've heard the past few months - I'd pick this over FLO all day - but it just seems so overwrought and dramatic that it turns me off to have to listen to her emote over this Linkin Park b-side ass track.  Although the thought of her pouring all of that out on the tiny ass BMI stage is sort of entertaining - that is way too much power and emotion to be contained where like, Mandolin Orange played 5 years ago.

And then, while I got some stuff done, I just let this continue to play, and it is growing on me a little bit.  "Remains of Us" had me bopping a little bit.  But then some of these songs also sound like those lame ass cover songs where a lady sings a slow-dirge version of "Mmmmbop" for a Batman trailer or whatever.  Like, this "Lonely Day" thing she is singing right now to me, that is a System of a Down song, right?  Pretty sure that is true.  But "Everything I Do Is For You" has a pretty good vibe too - kinda Deftones.  Meh, I'd probably go see Bakar instead anyway.
