EDM with a lady singer.  In the dubstep/heavy electronic camp with Skrillex or Bassnectar. Blah. They appear to only have one real album, called Welcome Reality +, that is apparently a fake soundtrack for a non-existent movie?  No clue what that is all about, but the album is nothing memorable (except for the two where they sample awesome 80's things - The Jets and Hall & Oates, on "Crush on You" and "Reaching Out," respectively, which is entertaining for pure nostalgia).  The most listened to track off of the album (which by sheer numbers proves me wrong, someone likes this stuff) is called "Promises," and has been streamed over 30 million times.

Sounds like the soundtrack of a mid-90's Sega game.  And the singer should spend a little less on the creepy blue contacts and invest in some invisalign instead.  Their album also includes a Skrillex remix of that song, which sounds a lot like Skrillex.  And guess what?  I don't know what I am talking about when it comes to EDM, because I just read that the Skrillex-aided remix of that song won a Grammy and that album was number 1 in the UK. Good on you, Nero.

Their second most listened to track is also off of that album, and is called "Doomsday."  It has 13.3 million listens.  99% of those spins were by scary smart kids in the Ukraine who are hacking into my credit card company right now.

According to YouTube comments, this track was totally used in a video game and was wicked awesome and KeWl 4eVa.  Again, if I told you that Bassnectar made that last song, would you know the difference?  Doubt it.  But these people seem to have earned their position on the 7th line of the poster.  I won't go check them out, but I'm hopeful a ton of people go over there and make it happen to leave me all alone at Gary Clark Jr.
