O.G. reggae. I mean, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Toots Maytal is like the Mount Ganjamore of reggae. There may be others - fill me in because I still jam Kaya when I want to hear reggae, so I'm not the foremost expert. You have probably heard him and just don’t know it yet. That godawful I Can See Clearly Now that I remember from the 80’s is him. He made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a few years ago, and ought to be a pretty fun show to see. Uplifting kind of dude. I listened to a greatest hits type deal on Spotify called This is Crucial Reggae – Jimmy Cliff. Really good stuff.
