Old school fundamental funky and fly.  This is straight up old school funk – bass guitar, Hammond organ, trumpets, sly little guitar bits, harmony singing with titles like “Do It Like You Do” or “Fly.”  I bet you these dudes do a freaking awesome live show full of groovy dancing awesomeness.  Check out:

That is grade-A groove.  How you could listen to that just now and not bite your bottom lip while shifting your head forward and backwards like Bill Cosby dancing for Rudy Huxtable is beyond me.  What is wrong with you?  I bet these guys are awesome.  I also bet that hanging with them backstage would get you arrested in 48 states.  Uh!
