I missed these dudes doing a freaky show at SXSW, showed up right after they had finished playing, but saw them in the crowd next to me during the Schoolboy Q show. They are interesting cats – lots of weird face paint makeup stuff and some super complex clothing/necklace combos that I couldn’t comprehend. But you know what? Really great British invasion psych rock. Really great.
Totally ripping off loads of other folks before them, but it is perfectly
executed and really likeable. Seriously, play this lead single off of
their new album and try to determine if you are listening to a 2014 released song
or 1964 classic.
