Thoughts:  So pumped to see these dudes. I reviewed their 2016 album (The Boy Who Died Wolf) very favorably, and it made my top 5 albums from that year.  It is still very awesome.  If you are a fan of straight-forward alt rock crunch, then go to it.  When I hear "Little One" now, and its wonderfully Lenny Kravitz-esque vocal, I can't help but wanting to belt it out at the top of my lungs.  The Queens of the Stone Age riffs and piano hammering on "Postres" rules. As I noted in my prior review, the "Send Me an Angel" cover is limp, just a weak, boring, lame pile of gross.  But otherwise this album is very excellent.

The top track from this album was "Serotonia" back in the day (which is a good one), but now "My Name is Human" is the top streamer at 34.1 million, with "Little One" right behind it at 21.4 million.  We'll go with the top track, which was nominated for a Grammy for the 2017 ceremony.
Video is terrible - just zooming out over and over again, but the song is still good stuff.

Before that album, you had 2015's Mister Asylum.  Also good grungy/bluesy crunch, but not nearly so good as the follow up album.  Has some bits that sound like Kings of Leon and Muse.  The top track from that album is "Lydia," with just over 35 million streams.
That video starts off pretty crappy, but then when the music kicks in, so does the girl.  Kinda like it.  Also a good song.  Another good track from that album is "23."

Curious if they have new music on the way?  Seems odd to have nothing in two years and only now be on the ACL lineup - should have been here two years ago!  Wikipedia says they got their start as a bar band playing covers around Cape Cod.  Sounds pretty grim - some real rock and roll struggle stuff.  But the band is twin brothers and their best friend, so that sounds kinda cool.  People chant M.C.I.D. before their shows, an homage to knuckle tats on lead singer Johnny Stevens' fist, which stands for My Crew is Dope.  It seems like he had to have gotten those tats for something else, but then changed it later.  But whatever, maybe his crew really is dope enough to warrant tats.

Imma give you one more video, here is "Little One," their third most streamed tune (and the one that I think sounds like Lenny Kravitz in the chorus).
Weird video, although I'd like to try to destroy a Goodwill too.  If you are in to the heavy rock, blues rock, alternative rock type stuff, then this one will get your juices flowing.  Looking forward to seeing it live.
