Reuben and the Dark (updated 8.5.14)

Just one song on Spotify, called Rolling Stone, that brings Mumford to mind.  Background woahs, repetitive harmony chorus, a banjo plucking in the background of a driving indie rock beat.  Music is pretty good, but the whole "Roll like a, Roll like a, Roll like a Rolling Stone" bit repeated over and over is annoying.  A couple more songs would help me figure out if these guys are actually good or not.  According to their label bio, they are multi-instrumentalists who make "chilling, emotive folk and soul driven by dark, introspective lyrics that explore the duality of misery and joy."  Vomit.

Found a second song on YouTube, and this one is tight.  Beautiful song, nice harmonies, although again they seem to have an issue with writing a chorus that doesn't just repeat the same thing over and over.  Really nice though.

update:
New album called Funeral Sky came out in May and it definitely takes the cool sound hinted at in those two singles and draws it out for a full album of driving, expansive anthems.  "Devil's Time" is solid, and while this is not the studio version, you will get the picture (music starts after interview stuff at 1:43):

This is good new music.  I still like my original Mumford comparison, but they are also in the same family tree as Band of Horses or Head and the Heart or Kodaline.  Hope they are as good live as they are on this new album.
