Hard Proof

All instrumental funky biz.  According to the short message underneath the following YouTube video, they are an Austin-based "collective" that tightly fuses afrobeat with adventurous jazz and deep funk.  Right.  Hear it for yourself:

You be the judge.  Was that adventurous jazz?  I think so.  Was that deep funk?  Oh yeah.  Was that afrobeat?  I dunno, but I tried one of the other YouTube videos in the suggested list that claimed to be afrobeat, which makes me think that afrobeat is techno drumming, autotuning, and a lot of half nekkid people.  I am not a fan of Hot Afrobeat mix: Nigeria, Caeron, Ghana Azon.  I doubt I'll see these dudes jam their jams.
