Thoughts:  Only two songs on Spotify, and one of them is just a strings instrumental (?!?), so the review is going to be pretty limited.

"Hoping" comes on like a quiet, singer-songwriter over strummed guitar tune.  Like something in the Noah Kahan playbook.  And then it starts to build larger and wider as the first verse concludes and the drums start banging and the choir begins to warm up.  But then the guitars start crashing and the harmonies kick in and you start to feel more like we are in the Hozier world.  4,975 streams for this song.

Man, I miss cool weather and the idea of going camping.  They make the video start even more simply than the studio song, with just crickets to open that version.  It is a good song, he sounds great and the build of the song is really nice.  Cool video too, which he apparently shot with a friend and two sisters on his own.

He says he grew up thinking that singing in five-part harmony with your family was normal.  Which is sort of funny and sort of nuts.  He then moved to New York to attend the New School for a few years.  He claims to have made three of four albums worth of orchestral music, jazz, film scores, R&B, and hip-hop.  I hope he sticks to the indie rock thing and leaves the R&B in the cellar.

Hopefully by October he will have a proper album out and more to do on stage!
